It starts with confirming that first heartbeat at 6 weeks, carries on through finding out whether you are having a boy or a girl, and finishes with the stunning detail of 4D HD Live imaging.
Booked separately, the four scans come to £300. The package is £199, so you save £101, just over a third off, and the Wellbeing Scan is included free. A £50 deposit secures it and the balance is payable at your first appointment.

So there are no surprises later, here is exactly how the package works.
- All scans must be used within 9 months from the date of purchase and during the same pregnancy.
- The package is personal to the client and is non-transferable.
- Scans or benefits cannot be transferred to another person or another pregnancy.
- The package and any unused scans cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another package or programme, or used as credit towards another service, except where required by law.
- The free Wellbeing Scan included in this package cannot be combined with our Buy 3 Scans, Get 1 Free offer. Only one free scan applies per pregnancy.
- All appointments are subject to our standard Terms and Conditions, and to our booking, cancellation, rescheduling and clinic policies.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

It is four separate scan appointments across one pregnancy for £199. You buy the package between 6 and 9 weeks and have your Early Pregnancy Viability Scan first. Your Gender Scan and your free Wellbeing Scan follow from 15 weeks, and your 4D Baby Scan from 24 weeks. You book each appointment as your pregnancy progresses, so you are not tied to fixed dates months ahead.
A £50 deposit secures the package. The balance of the £199 is payable at your first appointment. Booked separately the four scans come to £300, so the package saves you £101.
The package opens with the Early Pregnancy Viability Scan, which we carry out from 6 weeks and up to 9 weeks. If you buy later than that, the first scan would go unused and the package would not give you the full £300 of value. If you are already past 9 weeks, call us on 0191 422 9570 and we will point you to the right individual scans or our Buy 3 Scans, Get 1 Free offer instead.

4D Ultrasound is the latest generation of ultrasound scanning technology which adds a fourth dimension of time, allowing you to see your baby move in real time. By taking multiple 3D images we can show live-action images of your baby's movements.
If we can't perform your scan properly due to your baby's positioning not being ideal for scanning, we offer a one-time complimentary re-scan within two weeks (Monday to Friday, subject to availability).
At Gateshead Numi Scan we have fully experienced and qualified sonographers to perform your scans. If you have a preference, please let us know during booking and we will try to accommodate your request.
No. All our private baby scans are designed to be complementary to NHS scans. You should still attend your NHS scans whether you are having extra private scans or not.
Absolutely, you may bring up to 4 family and friends to enjoy the precious moments with you. Our room has ample seating and a 90-inch projector screen and two 46-inch side TVs for everyone to see your baby in high definition.
