During your scan, our experienced and registered sonographer will:
- Determine your baby's gender with 99%+ accuracy
- Check baby's movement and overall wellbeing
- Confirm an audible heartbeat
- Reveal the gender on the day or write it down and seal it in an envelope for your reveal party

When can you have a Luxury Gender Reveal scan?
The earliest reliable visual gender determination on a 2D ultrasound is from 15 weeks of pregnancy. That's when baby's anatomy has developed enough to be clearly visible. Here's when most parents book:
- 15-16 weeks: The earliest reliable window. See our 16-week milestone guide. This is the gender determination sweet spot. For an even earlier result from 8 weeks, our DNA Gender Blood Test is the way to go.
- 17-22 weeks: The peak booking window. Most reveal parties happen in this window because it's after the NHS dating scan but before the 20-week anomaly scan, so the celebration is genuinely the first time you (and your guests) find out.
- 22-30 weeks: Still reliable, though some parents at this stage prefer to combine the gender confirmation with our 4D Baby Scan for the bonding experience as well.
- After 30 weeks: Possible but less popular, as by this point most parents have already found out one way or another.
