This early pregnancy scan package is usually between 7-15 weeks. Giving parents in Newcastle and Gateshead reassurance they need and a chance to see a heartbeat. If you are unsure of your dates or cannot get to see your midwife as early as you would like, this early scan is ideal for confirming a single or multiple pregnancy and giving you an estimated due date.
Please note we use a transabdominal (across your tummy) probe for this scan. So it is important to drink 1 litre of water 60 minutes before your scan.
